Okay, I went to 7 different sites including the Uxbridge photo gallery. No luck. Can't wait to find out, though.

Tom Thompson? He seems to be the most famous of the seven, but I couldn't find anything on this statue? Still looking.

Well I'm afraid I'm not up to speed on our Canadian artists but I like his hat. Looks like he was a pretty handsome dude.
